The Jungian Psychoanalytic Association (JPA) is an educational community of certified Jungian analysts based in New York City that promotes the contemporary understanding and applications of Jungian psychology in professional psychoanalytic and mental health fields, and in the public domain. We present programs and research that bring Jungian ideas to the wider community, sponsor professional conferences, facilitate access to Jungian analysis through a referral service, and train the next generation for professional licensure and international recognition as certified Jungian analysts.

All participants of the JPA, its analyst members and candidates, follow existing professional conduct codes and procedures of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) and all the professional groups in which they and the association have membership. They are to establish, and remain in compliance with, the regulations and laws of the states and nations in which they practice.

As a certified Association of Jungian Analysts and a Training Institute of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP), the JPA practices and supports the principles expressed in the IAAP’s anti- discrimination statement. Our members are committed to the policy and practice of non-discrimination of labelled persons and groups, with heightened sensitivity to particular historical and current persecutions, exclusions, and suppressions. This informs all modes of discourse, training, and other professional and public programs.
