In 2004, thirteen Jungian analysts founded the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association (JPA), certified by the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP), and chartered by the Education Department of New York State. Our community, based in NYC, now consists of over 55 local and international analyst members, including a growing number of JPA graduates, and 18 analysts-in-training.
Our members teach, lecture, lead seminars and workshops, participate in national and international conferences, and are highly regarded and widely published in both professional and public domains. The JPA offers two training tracks: a non-licensure track for those seeking an IAAP-certified training in Analytical Psychology, and a licensure-qualifying (LQP) track for those seeking to become licensed psychoanalysts in New York State, as well as IAAP certified. Both may be taking concurrently.
The JPA also frequently hosts events for the public in addition to its own membership. Continuing education credits are typically offered for these events.
